Strike for the Trades Scholarship Bowl-A-Thon

The League City Regional Chamber of Commerce Industrial Trades & Services Networking Group is proud to launch the inaugural Strike for the Trades Scholarship Bowl-A-Thon, a fun and meaningful event designed to bring industry leaders together while investing in the next generation of skilled workers.

As our Industrial Trades & Services Networking Group has grown, one challenge continues to be echoed across every sector: the need for a strong, qualified workforce pipeline. Employers are seeking welders, electricians, HVAC technicians, instrumentation specialists, industrial maintenance technicians, construction professionals, machinists, process operators, allied health and other skilled trades professionals.

This event was created to help address that need.

Funds raised will support scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing careers in the skilled trades, technical fields, and allied health at:

  • College of the Mainland
  • San Jacinto College
  • University of Houston-Clear Lake
  • Remington College

In addition, a portion of the proceeds will support the Chamber's workforce development initiatives, 

helping us continue to connect industry, education, and future talent throughout our region.


Time

Check-in begins at 2pm. Tournament begins at 3pm.
