President's Update

Dear Chamber Members,

As we enter this holiday season and time of giving, I wanted to personally thank you for your support of the Chamber and our new team.  We have really enjoyed getting to meet so many of you and look forward to meeting many more in the new year!
2024 will be a prosperous and successful one for our Chamber and we would like everyone to be involved in helping us get there.  We have so many great activities, events, luncheons, and breakfasts planned for our members, which provide an excellent platform for networking and growing your own business.

We will provide more opportunities to advertise your business as well through our current web page ads, email blasts, social media, and the return of our magazine, a bi-monthly issue, beginning in March 2024, with plenty of space for paid ads, educational and informative articles and much more.  More details to come on that soon!

Please be sure to check out our events and activities calendar and sponsorship opportunities mentioned further below.

Many blessings and warm regards to you and your families this holiday season!

A Word from Our Chairman

Dear Chamber Members:

Christmas and New Years are right around the corner.  2023 is coming to an end and 2024 will be here soon.  I really enjoyed our recent Jingle and Mingle at the Chamber on December 5th.  We had a great turnout and a big thank you to the staff for all the great decorations.  Our Chamber Staff and Board have worked hard to plan next years Events and Luncheons.  On January 26th we will have the State of the County Lunch. Sponsorships are available and I encourage all members to attend.  Let’s fill the room.

On January 9th our Board will convene for a Strategic Planning Session for our Chamber.  If you have ideas to share, please contact me or Bryan.  I encourage you to get involved in one of our committees.  It is a great way to make friends and network.
One of the things that I want to promote in my Chairmanship is Shopping local.  Shopping locally and supporting local businesses has a major impact on the economic development of our area.  With over 7,000 businesses, we have so much room to grow our Chamber.  It also allows us to have more influence in our community.

Please be safe over the holidays and I look forward to working with you in the future to make our area the best place to live, work and play.

Happy Holidays!
Carl A. Joiner
Chairman of the Board

If you’re looking to increase your company’s visibility through the Chamber, consider sponsoring your company’s logo on this 18” x 42” PVC wall plaque in our conference room or classroom.  This sponsorship plaque is at the $2,500 level for 3 years and is an awesome way to be recognized as a community leader through the Chamber!

We also have a $1,000 sponsorship level for your company logo on a similar PVC  plaque for $1,000, which is on an annual basis.  This plaque will be placed in our main lobby area, which will hold 15 company logos, 4 of which have already been claimed.

The League City Chamber will be starting a new bi-monthly magazine, with the first issue launching no later than March 1st, 2024!

We are excited about this publication, which will be a digital flip book magazine circulated to all Chamber members and our community. This publication will be a wonderful place to get high visibility advertising for your business in as many issues as you would like in 2024.

We will have a magazine naming contest just after Christmas via Facebook (starting on Dec 27th), so if you aren't already following our page, you can join here to submit your suggested name. The winner will receive $250 in free advertising credits!

The magazine will consist of business ads, articles (medical, education, construction, real estate, travel, and other topics TBD), and chamber and city related event and activity schedules.

Please see magazine ad rates and the agreement by clicking here. Please email Shasta Martin, Membership Director, at shasta@leaguecitychamber.com if you have any questions!
