Chief Operating Officer @ Anchor Point

Summary:  The Chief Operating Office (COO) is in charge of overseeing the operational functions of the Anchor Point Ministry, which include HR, IT and Finance.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other members of the executive management team to oversee business operations.

  • Assist with quarterly and annual strategic planning of the ministry.

  • Take on comprehensive goals from the CEO and develop strategic operational plans to execute against those goals.

  • Coordinate presentations with the CEO to board members.

  • Align the vision of the ministry with the CEO and Executive Management Team.

  • Oversee operations and how cash flow is being affected by inefficiencies and human resources. 

  • Work closely with executive management team to provide workplace guidance and training (workplace policies, ministry changes, and more).

  • Oversee all HR and staffing/volunteer functions, which includes maintaining recruitment standards, new hire paperwork, and internship processes.

  • Oversee and handle financial operations related to bookkeeping, deposit entries, account receivables, account reconciliation, employee expense reports and monetary donations.  Administration of insurance policy renewals, non-profit tax returns, and compliance items in conjunction with CEO and CPA.

  • Overseeing all aspects of facilities management to support the ministry, including security, building repair and maintenance.

  • Responsible for overseeing all phases of donation entry into donor database.  Responsibilities include deposit entry for the organization and transfer of information to etapestry database, donor thank you processes, processing required paperwork, and processing queries and reports requested per donor development and management.

  • Provide support in fundraising, event planning, outreach and ministry activities as directed by CEO.

  • Assist the CEO with special projects and initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life.

  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to sexual purity.

  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, and the policies of the center.

  • Sincere desire to reach out to abortion vulnerable and abortion minded women.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and/or Accounting

  • 5-10 years in a previous executive level operating job.

  • Diverse business operation experience preferred.

  • Extensive experience with business operations.

  • A strong track record of driving operational, sales, and customer satisfaction goals within a business.
