Fred Growcock has worked as a Scientist at Brookhaven and Oak Ridge National labs on coal liquefaction/gasification and nuclear reactor safety; Adjunct Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma; and Fluid Specialist for various companies in the oil and gas industry developing drilling and fracturing fluids. Dr. Growcock holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Physical Chemistry from New Mexico State University, and B.A. and B.S. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as the Chair for the International Association of Drilling Contractors Technical Publishing Committee and helps organize conferences of the American Association of Drilling Engineers. Locally, he serves as the Chair of the League City Parks Board, Membership Chair of the League City Lions Club, and recently served on the Board of the Village at Tuscan Lakes HOA.
