MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: Celebrating leadership and workforce development
Dear Chamber Family,
The fall season is near, and your League City Regional Chamber is only rising.
Just this past month of August, we have had an array of successful events, from our State of Higher Education to our phenomenal Purse Bingo event. This summer has certainly been a productive one and I am excited for a joyful and event filled fall.
And we are just getting started as September arrives. But as August comes to an end, great acknowledgements are in order.
Your chamber and I hold leadership as one of our highest values and to witness so many phenomenal people learn and grow as leaders is what we are here for.
Programs like Leadership League City are the perfect example of the importance of continuing professional development. It is imperative as leaders and workers in our community that we never stop learning even when we finally enter the workforce.
Leadership, like learning, is a life long process and therefore I encourage those in our community to always seek opportunities to grow as leaders. This September will see us honoring some of our community’s most important leaders while also staying committed to leadership.
I encourage everyone to join us in honoring our first responders at our annual Patriot Awards Luncheon, an event guaranteed to be even bigger than last years. We will also be providing a great opportunity for professional development this month at our next Thought Leadership series. And of course, we will be honoring our community’s phenomenal leaders at our ATHENA Awards Luncheon.
Let us lead the way and make September a fantastic month as we demonstrate the power of being Stronger Together.
