RECAP: Your chamber honors first responders at Patriot Awards Luncheon
The League City Regional Chamber of Commerce held its Patriot Awards Luncheon, its first in person event in months, on September 16, 2020.
The event was one marked with many highlights, in which so many of the community’s wonderful first responders were given awards for their actions and dedication to the community.
League City Mayor Pat Hallisey opened up the event and introduced the Galveston County sheriff’s department, who then proceeded to give their fellow nominated first responders their awards for their work as patriots in their community.
Our wonderful sponsors for the event included UTMB Health (the title sponsor), Texas-New Mexico Power, AMOCO Federal Credit Union, HomeTown Bank of League City, Mac Haik League City and of course the City of League City.
Sponsors for our first responder tables were Harbour Insurance Services and the City of Kemah.
As part of their role as the title sponsor, UTMB Health made a video showing their thanks to our first responders.
But this is just the beginning! Your chamber has many events planned, both virtually and in person while still ensuring safety is our utmost priority! Your chamber is dedicated to serving its amazing community and to continue that, we will be hosting our job fair on October 1! We highly encourage those in the community to attend this event and combat the unemployment COVID-19 has caused.
