Thanking our Mayor and City for “National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day”
As many are learning, the third Wednesday of October is National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day.”
At a recent city council meeting on October 26, League City Mayor Pat Hallisey issued a proclamation, declaring October 20 to officially be “National Support Your Local Chamber Day” in League City.
As our region’s biggest advocate for economic prosperity and success, your League City Regional Chamber of Commerce sees this as a day to reflect on its proud service to League City and its surrounding region. But most importantly, we want to thank all our fellow chamber members and partners for their support! Without amazing businesses and organizations like yours, this community would not be the amazing and vibrant region it is. Your chamber is here for you and therefore would not be here without you. You allow us to fulfill our mission everyday and make each of our staff proud to come to work each day. League City is only growing in its prominence, and we are only rising from here, and this has not and will not be done without the great support and work of our community, proving once again we are stronger together.
As 2021 nears its end, we are excited for what the future holds. One never knows exactly what the future holds, but what we do know is our mission and plans that will never change: to support, aid, and amplify our local businesses and community and guarantee our region is a prospering one with the greatest quality of life.
And a big thanks to Mayor Pat Hallisey and the city of League City for proclaiming this historic day for our community and its regional chamber of commerce. We are Stronger Together.
