Dear Chamber Family,

The month of July is always a special time of gratitude for your Chamber President and CEO. July marks the anniversary of my arrival to your chamber. In these three years, I have witnessed the chamber grow to new heights, becoming the fastest growing chamber in Galveston County and becoming a four star accredited chamber, which we will celebrate this month. 

It has been a month since your Chamber became a nationally recognized accredited chamber of commerce and coming into the third anniversary of my time with the chamber has me proud of the direction our chamber is going. 

The future is brighter than ever as we grow to new heights. Words can hardly express how grateful I am for this honor and all that we have achieved in my three years here at the chamber. I am grateful for my staff and all those involved with the chamber who have led the chamber to this point. 

This month sees us only continuing to pivot as we have many phenomenal events such as The State of School Safety, our third Unity in Community session, our Business Expo & Career Fair and of course a monthly Dining Dutch With Dewan. 

The best part, Chamber Family, is that we are just getting started. The chamber is only going to grow and the sky is not even the limit. Your chamber is soaring with our reach growing only stronger as we embody our motto of Unity in Community.
