I graduated from UHCL in 2016 with a Bachelors in Education. I have been a public-school teacher for the past 8 years and have taught 4th-6th grade reading + writing, with most of my years in 4th grade. It was a bittersweet closing of a chapter, as I recently left the classroom to pour my heart into Apogee League City East and its mission. As a teacher, we go into the profession with the passion to be positive role models, build relationships + character, and change lives (shout-out to all the amazing teachers out there!), and I’m excited I’m able to pursue that same life-long dream in a new capacity.
